Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 2026-05-15 · Last updated: 2026-05-15

Welcome to Streamly. Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the app. By installing or using Streamly you agree to the terms below.

1. About Streamly

Streamly is an IPTV player application for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. The app is developed and operated by Yasser Farag (Apple Developer Team ID: M7GK7B47H6), an individual developer based in Egypt. Streamly is a player only — it does not provide, host, distribute, transmit, sell, or curate any audio or video content. All content played through the app is supplied entirely by user-provided playlists or third-party services that the user connects to.

2. User-Provided Playlists

Streamly accepts standard playlist formats such as Xtream-Codes credentials and M3U URLs. The user is solely responsible for ensuring that:

  • The playlists they load are obtained legally;
  • They have the right to access the content available through those playlists;
  • Their use of the content complies with the laws of their country and with the terms of the underlying provider.

Streamly does not verify, endorse, or moderate the contents of any playlist.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA) to use Streamly. By using the app you represent that you meet this minimum age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms in your jurisdiction.

4. Your Account

A Streamly account is optional. The core player functionality works without signing in. If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, your authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication; Streamly never sees your password. Account-linked features include cross-device sync of your playlists, favorites, and watch history, and access to your purchase history across devices. You can sign out, switch accounts, or delete your account at any time from Menu → Account → Delete Account.

5. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Streamly offers an optional Pro tier via in-app purchase on the App Store:

  • Auto-renewing monthly and yearly subscriptions (with an introductory free-trial period where offered);
  • A one-time Lifetime purchase that unlocks Pro permanently for the purchasing Apple ID.

All purchases are processed by Apple and managed through your Apple ID. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew at the price disclosed on the App Store at purchase until you cancel; you can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple per Apple's refund policy.

Entitlement state (Free or Pro) is managed by RevenueCat on Apple's behalf. If your entitlement cannot be validated (for example a revoked receipt or a family-sharing change), Pro features will revert to Free until validation succeeds again.

6. Cross-Device Sync (Pro)

When you sign in with an active Pro entitlement, your playlist list, favorites, and watch history sync across your Apple devices via your own private Firestore document. Free users get a one-way playlist backup so a reinstall can restore playlists. Sync covers only the data described in the Privacy Policy; Streamly does not collect or relay your stream playback content.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the app to access, distribute, or attempt to access content that is unlawful in your jurisdiction. You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app except where permitted by applicable law. You agree not to circumvent the Free / Pro entitlement gating or interfere with Apple's StoreKit or RevenueCat purchase verification.

8. Third-Party Services

Streamly connects directly to the playlist endpoints you configure. Those services have their own terms of service, privacy policies, and content rules; you are bound by those when you use them. Streamly is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any IPTV provider, channel operator, or studio.

The app also relies on the sub-processors disclosed in the Privacy Policy:

  • Apple — Sign in with Apple, StoreKit purchase processing, Speech recognition.
  • Google (Firebase) — Authentication, Firestore, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring, Analytics, Remote Config.
  • RevenueCat — subscription state management.
  • Google Sign-In — optional sign-in flow.

Movie and TV metadata, posters, and stills surfaced inside the app may be provided by TMDB and are used under TMDB's API terms; Streamly uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is described in detail in the Streamly Privacy Policy, available in-app under Menu → Privacy Policy. By using the app you also accept the Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

The Streamly name, logo, and original UI are the intellectual property of the publisher. Trademarks, channel logos, artwork, posters, and metadata that may appear within content fetched from your playlists or third-party services are the property of their respective owners and are displayed solely as part of playback.

11. No Warranty

The app is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Stream availability, quality, and continuity depend entirely on the third-party services you connect to.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the publisher of Streamly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use the app, regardless of the legal theory.

13. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. You may delete your account in-app via Menu → Account → Delete Account. The publisher may release updates, modify functionality, or discontinue the app at its discretion, including suspending access where required to comply with law or where misuse is detected.

14. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted in the app and the "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

15. Governing Law

These terms are interpreted under generally accepted commercial principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the jurisdiction of the publisher's principal place of business (Egypt) unless another jurisdiction is required by mandatory local law or by Apple's App Store terms.

16. Contact
